Decklynn has the CRS designation awarded to the top 3% of realtors in the nation.  This designation is based on number of transactions and professionalism.  She also has the GRI designation. In today’s real estate climate the counseling skills Joel brings to the table are imperative when working with complicated transactions, i.e. short sales, foreclosures, divorce problems and estate issues. Decklynn’s extensive experience has been beneficial to her clients over the years because of the various real estate markets in which she has succeeded. Both Decklynn and Joel have sharp negotiating skills based on Joel’s success in negotiating civil and criminal matters and Decklynn’s ability to work with fellow agents with whom she has established long term relationships.

 

Both Joel and Decklynn have degrees in sociology, prepared to help their clients with problem solving issues.  Their commitment to excellence is to the client’s benefit.

 

Joel is one of the founders of Hamline University School of Law and graduated from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul.  He is a past president of the Dakota County Bar Association.

 

Joel is a past member of   The Board of Professional Responsibility for Lawyers for the State of Minnesota.

 

Joel is on the Advisory Masonic Cancer Research Center of the University of Minnesota.

 

Joel has been a board member of the Dakota County Receiving Center for over 20 years.

 

Decklynn is past president of the Southern Twin Cities Board of Realtors and was voted Realtor of the Year in 2004 and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Southern Twin Cities Board of Realtors in 2002.

 

Decklynn was awarded a Community Builders Award by the city of Burnsville in 2002 and is currently on the Board of the Burnsville Youth Foundation

 

Decklynn and Joel celebrated 41 years of marriage in 2011 and are parents to 3 sons, 3 daughter-in-laws and 3 fun loving grandchildren.
